No — India accepts English translations exclusively for visa applications. Hindi is NOT required for Thai documents (or any foreign documents) submitted to Embassy of India / IVAC Bangkok. India e-Visa is the online-only visa system launched 2014. Thai passport holders are eligible for: e-Tourist Visa (30 days double entry / 1 year multiple entry / 5 years multiple entry), e-Business Visa, e-Medical Visa, e-Medical Attendant Visa, e-Conference Visa. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) is a lifetime multiple-entry visa for foreign citizens of Indian origin (and certain spouses). Eligibility: (1) Foreign national who was a citizen of India at any time on or after 26 January 1950; OR (2) Whose parents or grandparents or great-grandparents were Indian citizens at any time after 26 January 1950; OR (3) Spouse of an Indian citizen OR spouse of an OCI cardholder (where marriage is registered + has subsisted for ≥2 years). Exclusions: Persons who are or were Pakistani or Bangladeshi citizens are NOT eligible.
