How many certified copies should I order?
Short answer
Order one for each authority that will keep a copy, plus one for your own file. Several institutions retain the certified set they receive, and reordering later restarts the certification chain and its waiting time.
For visa, marriage and estate matters, three or four sets is common because multiple offices are involved sequentially.
