How long does a certified translation take?

Turnaround depends on length, subject matter, language pair and the certification chain required. The translation itself is often the shortest part; legalisation or Apostille steps are set by the authority's own processing times.
Give us the deadline set by the receiving office rather than a preferred date, so the plan is built backwards from the real constraint.
Where a hard deadline exists, tell us at the scoping stage — some certification steps cannot be compressed at any price.
