Who can certify translations of Thai family documents?
Short answer
It depends on the receiving authority. Some accept a translation company's certification, some require the Department of Consular Affairs legalisation route, and some embassies accept only translators on their own list. Confirm the rule before commissioning the work.
Where documents will travel to a Contracting Party to the HCCH 1961 Convention, ask whether the Apostille is required on the original document, on the translation, or on both.
IVC prepares certified translations and coordinates the certification chain; scope is confirmed by staff by phone, LINE or email.
