90-day reporting for foreign residents
In short
A foreign national staying in Thailand on a long-stay permission of stay must notify the Immigration Bureau of their current address every 90 days, under the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979). The count runs from the date of last entry or last report, not from a calendar quarter.
Reporting can be made in person, by an authorised representative, by post or online depending on the office and the applicant's history, and the receipt slip should be kept with the passport because it is the evidence that the obligation was met.
The report is about address notification only — it is not a visa extension, does not extend permission to stay, and does not replace the TM.30 notification the accommodation provider is required to make.

- Passport with the current permission-to-stay stamp
- Previous 90-day receipt slip, if any
- Current address in Thailand
- Immigration office responsible for your area
Watch out
Leaving and re-entering Thailand restarts the 90-day count from the new entry date — recalculate after every trip.
