Certified translation of financial statements and tax documents
In short
Thai statutory financial statements, tax returns and Revenue Department correspondence are issued in Thai. Foreign banks, head offices, investors and immigration authorities frequently require a certified English translation with a translator's certification statement attached.
Consistency across periods matters. Account names, note headings and the auditor's report wording should be translated the same way year on year so that a reader comparing two years is comparing the same labels.
Ask the receiving institution what certification it needs before the work starts: a translator's certification, a notarial certificate, consular legalisation or an Apostille each change the deliverable and the timeline.
What we need from you
- The Thai financial statements or tax documents in full, including notes
- Prior translated versions, for terminology continuity
- The receiving institution and the certification it requires
- Deadline set by the bank, investor or authority
Watch out
Partial scans that omit the auditor's signature page or the stamped cover page are the most common reason a certified set is rejected.
