Same-day workflow
IVC's Notarial Services Attorneys (Lawyers Council of Thailand) — from 500+ notarizations per month — answer directly: Same-day notarization is genuinely possible at IVC because we keep three notarial-services attorneys rotating on site Monday–Saturday, 9:00–18:00. No intermediary — walk to the counter and meet the attorney directly.
Actual stopwatch timeline: arrive 14:00 → document check 5 min → signature witnessed by attorney 10 min → embossed seal + Certificate of Notarization printed 15 min → walk out at 14:30 ready to submit to the embassy the same afternoon.
Rush fee schedule
Rush fees: standard notarization stays at THB 500–1,000; the surcharge applies only outside office hours (+THB 500 for Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or after 18:00) or for Mobile Notary dispatch (+THB 1,500 inner Bangkok, +THB 2,500 outer districts).
Real same-day closures: (1) A foreign executive with an evening flight — Singapore POA finished in 3 hours; (2) A Thai nurse relocating to Germany — degree transcripts notarized before 17:00 for next-day embassy submission; (3) A US couple divorcing in Thailand — POA for Virginia court complete in 2 business days including MFA.
Cases closed within hours
Important caveat: the notarization itself is same-day, but MFA legalization at Chaeng Watthana still takes 5 business days (or 1 day for expedited service) and each embassy has its own SLA. We give a realistic end-to-end timeline before you commit — no over-promising.
